The Latvian company Aerones has launched its line of permanently tethered cleaning drones that clean the windows of high elevation skyscrapers efficiently. These drones are powered with electricity and water that comes from the ground, virtually eliminate the human safety risk of such heights and are easily adaptable to different building styles.

The Aerones drone is pretty big. It features 14 rotors, and its box frame is approximately 3 X 3 meters. It inclines the scales at 90 kg (121 pounds).
